Halloween Wildfire spreads to 100 acres in South Jersey, officials say

A wildfire burning through a wooded area in Cumberland County spread to 100 acres on Halloween night, officials said.
The blaze, nicknamed the Halloween Wildfire, is affecting an area near Railroad Avenue in Downe Township and was 0% contained as of 9 p.m., the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said.
Downe Township is about is about 15 miles northeast of Bridgeton.
No structures are considered to be threatened.
Railroad Avenue has been shut down between Dividing Creek and Ackley roads as crews work to contain the fire.
